The Museum is entirely funded by donations, grants, and fundraisers.

All donations, in-kind services or artifacts donated to the museum are tax deductible.

Our Goals

  • 1

    Lamm O’Mac Research Library needs continued upgrades in electrical, HVAC, insulation, paint, sheetrock, and ceiling repairs. These upgrades will preserve our historic newspapers, family bibles, business ledgers, and more.

    To continue upgrading displays and adding signage.

    To re-arrange displays in a historical time line of Florence.

    The new outdoor exhibit, “Black Gold/Coal - Florence Tea” will be located south of the museum and highlight the history of oil and coal of Fremont County in large, outdoor displays.

    Our first phase is to level the ground, and place a culvert in the union ditch.

    To repair many infrastructure needs of the museum building.

    To continue to fund The Eastern Fremont County Historical Club for local 3rd-5th graders.
