2019 Events

April: Through the month of April, visit the museum for a Historical Easter "Egg" Scavenger Hunt. Can you find the historical artifact in the museum with a few clues at your side? Come and join the fun in learning the history of Florence and Eastern Fremont County. 

Money raised in April will go to our Building Fund.


May 11: Historic Homes of Florence Tour


May 19: Florence Car Show: The Museum will be OPEN.


June 8: Walk It Off! Pancake Breakfast--Pancake breakfast with a self-guided walking tour of historic Florence.


July 4th: Museum closed.


September 14: Tour de Coal Town Bike Hike--bike through the famous coal towns around Florence. Lunch at Pioneer Park at the end of the ride.


September 21: Pioneer Day: Museum closed.


November 28: Thanksgiving: Museum closed.


December 14: Model Train Open House, 5:00-7:00 pm.


December 20, 2019-January 6, 2020: Museum closed for holiday break.
