November 11, Veteran's Day

The Florence Pioneer Museum will be open. Hours: 10:00 am-4:00pm. 

 

A Model Train Display with a Christmas Village

Bryce Nelson has loaned the museum a model train set to be on display for the holiday season November-December. The train set will be nestled in a  snowy village. Bryce is looking for fellow model train enthusiasts to create a model train club in the Florence/Canon City area. If you are interested, call Bryce at 719-429-1444 or bnelson5563@gmail.com

 

2018 Events

January 20, 2018:  The museum will be putting on its thrid annual "Chili Bowl in a Chilly Building" benefit. Locally made bowls and/or coffee cups with home-made chili will be for sale  for $5.00. This will benefit the museum's "Building Fund" to help buy the building next to the museum for expansion. See our "Building Fund " link for more details.
