Volunteers: We Need You!

Wow ! It is hard to believe that the Florence Pioneer Museum and Reserch Center's season is almost coming to and end. We will "unofficially  close" at the end of September but, there is always unfinished work to do.

We are currently changing out our files from letter to legal. Files must be pulled out, checked through and re-named before re-filing into our system.

Other files must be sorted through and checked to see if all articles belong in that files or should they be placed in another type of file. This process needs to be applied to the community files.

If you are interested in helping the Museum sort through files, moving displays around, inventorying what is in what tub downstairs, looking through old scrap books, giving a last shining cleaning to the display cases, then call Marty Lamm at 719-784-3037 for more info. on how you can be part of the Museum.

We  close at the end of September, but, we usually get many people coming in to check us out in October. We will stay open in October as long as the weather permits.
