2016 Walking Tours of Historic Florence, Colorado

This coming spring and summer, The Florence Pioneer Museum and Research Center will be offering guided tours  through the historic downtown of Florence, Colorado. Through maps in the Museum, Florence was found to be a thriving community supplying not only local people with the basic nesessities but also miners, gold hunters, and the adventurous travelers up and down through the canyons to other locations.

Limit: 10 people per tour

Time: 1:00-2:30

RSVP: Marty Lamm

Cost: $10.00 per person

Saturday tours are closed for now. If you or your group would still like to get a tour even after  the museum closes for the winter, go to the "Events" link and let's see what can be scheduled!

Winter Walking Tours will be dependent on the weather and local temps. Dress warm!

Summer walking Tours:

Bring good walking shoes, hat and water.

Whether it's winter or summer, we will stop at the local coffee shop, "The Pour House" for a rest stop. The Pour House serves great hot or iced coffee  and  Italian sodas.
